Summary
“Heh, sadly my pedestrian status isn’t by choice. My car croaked a few weeks ago and I haven’t found the energy to shop for a new one. I got it used and it lasted me eight years, so can’t cry about it.”
Her chest and cheeks are heating up, which is par for the course. She’s been deliberating asking to be transferred to the night shift for months now, but seeing Abbot for the handful of minutes while they’re switching off is humiliating enough. Even this boring snippet of small talk is activating the hairs on her arms. Her last proper crush was in med school, and the recipient equally problematic. But this will pass, like the rest. Crushes are like stomach bugs. You accept the pain, feel a bit sorry for yourself, and trust your body to handle it.

Summary
Someone in the Camelot (Merlin) has rooted out a spy on the council. This anonymous person (who is obviously Merlin) put this accusation into a long letter, full of evidence from a thorough investigation and infiltration of the spy's circle within the staff. Arthur is remarkably impressed with this mystery detective (again, Merlin) and becomes set on uncovering their identity.
Merlin didn't think things would get out of hand. He only wanted to get rid of the spy publicly and legally, so he forewent the magic and decided to conduct a counterintelligence mission for months to gather evidence the old-fashioned way—like anyone would! But suddenly Arthur is searching for him, and magic or not, he learned a long time ago to stay in the shadows.
George is so tired. It is so obvious. King Arthur is disappointingly unobservant, and George cannot take this much longer.

Summary
Newt is the one who does dangerous stuff in the lab. Hermann is not supposed to be doing anything riskier than climbing his stupid ladder to scribble at the top of his chalkboard. But when he comes up with a way to slow the rate of kaiju attacks and it blows up in his face, Newt is there to watch over him through the aftermath, and he doesn’t even say “I told you so.”
And then things get weird.

Hermann wakes up in a reality where the kaiju don't exist and he has never met Newton Geiszler. Theoretically, this should be a dream come true.
