“You know… it’s actually kind of ironic,” Minghao added after a moment. “You’re the only person I know who can lie, and so far, you’re the only one who feels honest.”

What happens, when a soul is dragged out of it's household? What happens to a person, that is desperate to feel accepted, when they find their way back home?
There are four nations of aetherians: Fae, Faeries, Elves, and Fairies. Each lives by its own laws and traditions.
Minghao is the prince of Fae. Raised beneath the shadow of a ruthless king, he has spent his entire life fighting for his father's approval — an approval that never seems within reach.
Now, he is given one final chance to prove himself: a mission to kidnap the heir of the Elven nation.
What the king never anticipated was that his son might fail, and not because he was too weak, but because he was finally strong enough to question the rules he had been forced to follow.
Rules he had never truly believed in to begin with.

Summary
In a world where prophecies rule the pulse of every life — where even dreams must bow before fate — twelve heirs are born beneath the blessing of divine music. Each chosen to wield an ancient relic, each destined to shape the world’s harmony anew.
Their names are written in gold, their instruments carved in legend.
Their purpose — absolute. But prophecies, like people, are never perfect.
A torn page.
A missing name.
A thirteenth note that was never meant to be heard. When the heirs gather to awaken their sacred relics, what begins as a ceremony of glory trembles with an unseen discord. Whispers of an incomplete prophecy rise once more — of a final heir erased from history, whose existence could either unite their harmony... or unmake it.
Bound by love, rivalry, and the fragile melody of destiny, the twelve will learn that the brightest light always casts the deepest shadow. And when that shadow begins to sing, the world will listen — whether it wishes to or not.
Because every song needs an ending.
And not all endings are meant to be heardBookmarked by readred
