Lloyd batted Red's hand away. “’m fine.” His head pounded, but at least it was quiet and dark. His hair tickled his nose. “What happened?”
“We…didn’t get out in time,” Red whispered. “The missile exploded. We got everyone else out, though.”
Lloyd relaxed and slumped forward as pure relief washed over him. They’d done it. They’d beaten Garmadon’s game. They’d freed the civilians and survived.
Didn’t feel great, though.

Lloyd and Kai get trapped under a building when it collapses, both injured. Angst and bonding ensue.Series

Summary
“There's this kid I met. His name's Lomedy.” He pauses.
“He's around your age I'm pretty sure and— I'm not forcing you to be friends with him or anything.” Mane licks his lips, swallowing the lump in his throat. “But he's a nice kid. I think you'd like him too and… it would be nice knowing you had him or well- someone like him by your side through all this.”
Lomedy. Flame repeats the name in his mind. He didn't know if he was memorizing the name to actually befriend him or to purposely avoid him for the sake of annoying his brother. He didn't need Mane to be scouting out buddies for him, that's just plain embarrassing.
Maybe he'd consider it, maybe he won't.
Or
After one specifically nasty fight lands him in court, Flame finds himself thrown into a rehabilitation center for troubled teens where he meets this stubborn kid who seems pretty adamant on trying to teach Flame how to care for plants.

"This doesn't prove anything," Flame says, forcing his heart to stop its frantic beat in his chest, forcing himself to remain impassive. "You think a golden pickaxe is going to tell me that Lomedy is dead?" He lets out a derisive laugh that perhaps doesn't fall as confident as he wishes it to.
Flow shrugs. "How 'bout this?"
A mace drops with a heavy thunk next to the pickaxe, grass flattening under its weight. Flame can see from his porch where he stands currently, the name carved into the handle. Incinerator. The name he gave Lomedy's mace.
Or
What if Lomedy dies in the Mist? But what if it's not in the ice cave?

no one would have expected minutetech, the end guardian, to find a frightened, injured ender dragon hybrid abandoned on one of the outer islands.
said ender dragon hybrid, wemmbu, barely speaks, flinches at every touch, and seems convinced that kindness always comes with a price. fluff ensues.
(basically cute lil kid wemmbu) (will prob include side quests of other protags childhood)
