Draco has been leading raids for as long as he could hold a sword but finds himself bewitched by the beautiful brunette.
All the while, kingdoms and allegiances come to bear in a clash that will force Hermione and Draco to face the truths of their past.

Hermione Granger’s job is very simple. Everyone wants a piece of her, and she gives everyone what they want: a win for the party, a pet project nudged through committee, a favour traded in light tones. An autograph. A quote. A smile for the camera. A name to curse at the dinner table. Her energy, her time, her heart.
The only one who doesn’t want something from her is Draco. He just wants her.

His face hovers above her, his cheeks dimpling. Then his familiar weight is pressing down on her.
A blurry question threads through the far reaches of her mind. Is it really you?
She makes a fuzzy noise.
He hushes her, pulling off the bedsheets, pushing up her slip. His brows crease at the position of her hand, covering her entrance. Wordlessly, he presses his nose to her fingers and draws a breath, groaning at what he smells there.
“Oh, darling,” he exhales. “Did you fuck yourself to sleep?”

Pausing at the door to Sheppard Street, Hermione clenched her jaw, one hand retreating from the warmth of her pocket to press at the space behind her breastbone where her broken heart lay shattered.
God, it hurt.
Beyond words, beyond… expression. The pain was nearly unbearable.
Eyes fluttering closed, she remembered the last night they were together. Tangled limbs in tangled bed sheets, gliding the tips of her fingers reverently across his moon-lit features, so serene in sleep. She was adamant about memorizing each and every one of them – same as she did every night. Just in case. She just didn’t-
Hermione sucked in a sob, squeezing her eyes until she saw stars.
