It doesn't look like a sleeping human. It doesn't look like a recharging SecUnit, either.
Murderbot recharges and ART muses. I was having feelings about Murderbot getting to be comfortable and relaxed, and decided to give ART feelings about it too. Just a soft little ficlet set during a quiet moment.

I didn’t look up, but I checked the drone input I had on him, and his face was doing the thing that meant he was worried.
“I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?” His face did not relax and now he was biting his lips. Arada and Overse had also looked up and were wearing complicated expressions.
I paused the music I’d been listening to while I sorted through my media archives and sat up a little straighter. “Why do you ask?”
“You just seem … restless.”

Summary
Hostile engaging. Abort mission. I sent it on instinct, even though I knew it was much too late for that.
What's going on? I could feel ART poking through my sensor data, trying to figure out what had made my threat assessment spike. Its tone was urgent, but calm. It wasn't sure yet if there was a legitimate threat or I was just having a Moment again.
The answer was probably a solid "both".
All of my organic parts told me to run.
Most of my inorganic parts also told me to run.

Summary
You might think that my biggest problem right now was the fact that my left arm was barely hanging on to the rest of me at the elbow, but that was in fact only my second biggest problem. My biggest problem was that letting ART fix it would require taking off my shirt, and taking off my shirt right now would make things very awkward, very fast, due to the number of incriminating scars it was currently hiding.

Summary
Three years after the probes carrying Taumoeba and Dr. Ryland Grace's final message arrive on Earth, humanity launches an interstellar spaceship with a brand new mission. Thirty-six crew members (including two graduates of a certain San Franciscan junior high school) travel to the star 40-Eridani to make friendly contact with the Eridians and bring them the alien life form from Tau Ceti-E that can save their star if Dr. Grace's sacrifice failed.
