Summary
It starts, as most things tended to do for Mike, with a lie.
As Mike juggles cases, a run-in with a cabbie leaves him hesitating about who he can depend on.
Mike needs to understand his worth. Harvey needs to understand Mike. The janitor just likes People magazine. Mike also needs to look where he's biking.

Summary
“What the hell happened?”
“I had a slight run-in with a cab.”
“A slight run-in with a cab.” Harvey frowns, eyes darting from the torn knees of Mike’s pants to his rumpled tie to what Mike can only assume is a pretty bad scrape on his cheek, judging from the stinging and the blood he’s wiped away multiple times in the last fifteen minutes. “It doesn’t look very ‘slight.’”

Summary
Louis set his hand on Mike’s shoulder and gave him a firm shake. “Get command of yourself. You can do this. Just remember: whatever Sandor wants, Sandor gets. Be accommodating. Get this guy signed.” He waved a hand in front of Mike’s face. “Hello. Did you hear what I just said? What are you going to be?”
Mike blinked. “Accommodating?”
“That’s the spirit. Now, get on that chopper. I’ve got to get back to the office.”

Summary
"So what do you make, Mike? What are they paying you there?” He leaned forward, dark eyes intense. “I bet you’re making bank.”
Mike gave Trevor what he imagined was a somewhat pinched smile in return. “I do all right. I’m paid plenty, and I like what I do.” Usually. Not so much lately. His relationship with Harvey remained strained, to put it mildly. Two months ago he’d asked Harvey to give him a month. The month had come and gone and Harvey hadn’t made a move. As far as Mike could tell, he didn’t have any intention of renewing their brief liaison. Not that he blamed Harvey, really. Most days he did his best not to dwell on that, and the work helped keep his mind off of things he’d rather not think about.
