Summary
"What exactly are you calling for, Nancy?"
There was a moment of silence before she continued. "I'm living in Paris—for work. I can't… they won't let him leave the country, and I can't move back fast enough for it to matter."
Will felt his face pale. "What about your parents?"
"They don't want anything to do with him, not after—"
"Yeah, I heard. What about…"
"Will, there's no one else. I've tried."
"Nancy, I can't… I can't just—"
"Please. I wouldn't be asking if there was another option."
Will bit the inside of his cheek. "Okay."
Or: Mike is on house arrest for 6 months and has no choice but to stay with Will, even though they haven't spoken in three years.

Summary
“You have so many freckles on your back,” Will whispers gently, hand still moving the pen across Mike’s skin.
“What are you doing?”
“Connecting them. Making up my own constellations.”
Mike hums once more. “You should see if you can find actual ones.”
“I don’t know them that well.”
“I’ll teach you some soon.”
Will and Mike slip into an innocent, comfortable painting routine which soon turns into something more intimate than they both can handle. Touches become more frequent and linger for a beat too long — and Mike decides that he wants to explore this dynamic further.
What he doesn't know, however, is that the underlying reason for his sudden interest in said dynamic is just as hard to grasp as paint running through fingers.

Summary
“I need like– actionable steps. ‘Act normal’ is too vague.”
Will sighs and reaches over to turn the radio down even quieter.
“Ok for one, stop staring at my mouth,” Will says.
Mike glances over at him automatically.
Will laughs. “See? That’s exactly what I mean. You’ve been doing it for years, but now it’s like…it’s a lot, Mike. People are gonna notice.”
“But I wanna kiss you,” Mike whines.
It’s been a week since Mike and Will got together – one blissful week, like a honeymoon before the wedding. Now they’re in Montauk for Joyce and Hopper’s, surrounded by friends and family, and trying to fly under the radar. Somewhere along the way, Mike realizes he doesn’t want to hide anymore.
Or, two horny idiots in love struggle to keep their relationship hidden.
