Summary
Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger have returned to Hogwarts, both a little mean, and both a little damaged. After catching Hermione out of bed Draco attempts to blackmail her, only to regret it when he realises that blackmail does not equal enthusiastic consent, and when it comes to Granger, our boy really needs that.
“Can I get you a drink?” Draco offered, ever the gentleman.
“No, I’d rather just get it over and done with.”
"Romantic," Draco murmured as he walked toward her.
"Blackmail," she responded, not bothering to match his murmur. -

Summary
In attempting to define a precise plan of action in response to the particular piece of unexpected news she had recently (six months still qualified as recent, in relative terms, didn’t it?) received, Hermione did the only thing she knew would calm the tornado which was currently whirling about her stomach.
She made a list.
Pro: Any traits a person could hope for in the father of one's offspring are admittedly present in the man who has assisted in creating this one.
Con: However many admirable traits he may possess, the aforementioned co-creator is still, to his detriment, Draco Malfoy -

Draco stared at the screen. Or, more accurately, the words on the screen. His face lax and unreadable, he looked from Hermione back to where the title glowed in clean black letters.

“What does it look like? I have a proposal to discuss.”
“With that title?”
“Yes.”
“And this is the personal project you wanted to discuss with… me. I am… one of the ‘we’?”
“Well, I wasn’t planning to present it to McLaggen.”
OR
Hermione gets tired of waiting, and makes a slide deck to convince Draco that he wants her.

Summary
Falling for Hermione Granger was quite possibly the most stupid thing Draco Malfoy had ever done in his twenty five years of being alive on the earth. He’d been known to be a part of some colossally stupid endeavors throughout his life, but since they’d begun working together at the Ministry four years prior he’d been worthless to resist her.
-OR-
In which Draco tries and fails to ask his coworker on a date, instead inviting her over to help him select an outfit for an imaginary date with an imaginary woman, all while best trying to capture the female gaze.

Summary
Objectively, the entire arrangement was ridiculous. Hermione was meant to be giving a press conference in five minutes, and instead, she was well on her way to being shagged within an inch of her life by her security detail. Again.

OR: Head Auror Draco isn’t on the same page as Minister for Magic Hermione about their recent one-night stand. Nothing a bit of forced proximity can’t fix.
