Summary
Zhou Zishu wakes to the inside of a swaying carriage. Normally, this isn’t out of the ordinary, if that was the way in which he fell asleep. Which it wasn't. Instead, Zishu remembers that he was with Wen Kexing, reading a letter from Jing Beiyuan, who requested he investigate a certain attached artifact. And then he remembers touching the artifact, only for everything to turn black.
Elsewhere in the jianghu, Jing Beiyuan is doing his best to keep his head attached to his neck.
Or, Zhou Zishu and Jing Beiyuan get bodyswapped. Meanwhile, Wen Kexing and Wu Xi suffer.

Viktor reclines on a divan in Mel’s lavish penthouse, shirt pushed open, pants pushed off his unbraced leg, cushioned by Mel Medarda herself as Jayce stands over them both.
He recalls the start of the evening, the mischievous way his two lovers lured him away from his work. The sun set in a blaze of fire as Jayce and Mel pushed and pulled at him, working together to draw him away from the lab and into their joint embrace. And now here he sits, surrounded and at their mercy.

A glowing tendril stretches from the Hexcore to his forearm, the tip just grazing his skin. The thing is no more than an inch or two thick, and as Viktor watches, the blood on his arm lifts off in flakes, which slowly drift back along the tether to the Hexcore.
He flicks his eyes back to where he bled on the workbench.
It’s clean.
There’s no sign he ever bled there.
Or,
Viktor accidentally bleeds on the Hexcore. It decides it wants more.

Except that, now, Shen Jiu couldn’t help but hear the quiet breathing on the other end, the stalker keeping the phone close to him at all times. Refusing to let him stay out of reach. Claws dug in deep.
…Shen Jiu refused to admit it was making his body heat up.
