Ema has never felt unlike herself. Scientifically speaking, herself is the only self she could possibly be, and there's no way to express this that would make it untrue. As long as she's been alive (or at least, conscious) she has felt plain and curious and has known that the world is full of strange and incredible things that aren't made for her, and maybe when people, real people, learn these sorts of things, they go and find a group of like-minded people. In the schoolyard, this is an easily-tested hypothesis—nerds find nerds, pretty girls find pretty girls, etcetera. A gaggle of weirdos. A secret language. But all Ema has is Lana; and now, Lana is different.

Bucky Barnes fell off of a train, the Winter Soldier drowned in a river, and a perfectly rational person would presume that they were most definitely dead, and that they were never coming back.
James Buchanan Barnes was not one of those perfectly rational people, as he was left behind for the longest by the two souls to deal with the mess that they had left behind in their wake.
Unfortunately, it seems that both of them decided at the same time that they're a tad less than happy with having to leave, and frankly? They're not having any of it.
Or: The entirely tragic tale of Bucky Barnes and the toll that it took on the town.

Kaito's always known that he was destined to be in space. At long last, he gets his chance when he's chosen to be part of a crew of sixteen Ultimates specifically selected for what might be the most badass mission possible! All they have to do is beat back alien overlords, stop abductions, and find a cure for a deadly virus. Nothing too hard, right?
For the Luminary of the Stars, this mission should be no sweat. However, when shot into space with fifteen not so stellar teammates, it might be a little hard to get things done. Not to mention that the organization Kaito's supposed to trust might be a little more sketch than previously thought. And there's the small, small issue of his faked health credentials...
But none of that can stand in the way of the one and only Luminary of the Stars! Kaito's got this handled...hopefully...(Crossposted on Wattpad)

Summary
Susie, moved by the flowers’ determination to live, becomes determined to let them, bringing them to Castletown and dedicating herself to their care whilst Asgore is gone. Flowery is given a nice tape bandage and popsicle stick splint, and she and Kris gently take the trek to the Grand Fountain. However, after school the next day, when she goes to visit them for their daily watering, there is one problem: All of the flowers absolutely REFUSE to go outside of their sunlight. Their encounter with the Knight has terrified them to wilting, and they have become overly involved with Flowery’s care. Ralsei, Susie and Kris now have to try to convince the flowers to come outside and spread their leaves. Flowery’s too kind to say it, but they’re all driving him crazy!
