Summary
“Fezco,” she said, breaking their kiss to pull back breathlessly. She tucked her bangs behind her ears and cupped his cheeks, scratching lightly at his beard. “Fezco, I’m ready.”
His brow furrowed. “Ready?” he echoed. She had only just gotten there. Fuckin bike was parked in Ash’s room, the bane of his existence. He wanted to buy her a car, but she refused outright when he brought the idea up. He hated the thought of her riding around East Highland, knowing the freaks that loomed in the shadows, just waiting to snatch a pretty little thing like Lexi up.
“Yeah. I’m ready to - to have sex,” Lexi said.

Summary
"The fuck is that green shit, Lex?" he asked, pointing at the frying pan. Looked like something straight outta Dr. Suess.
"Oh, this? I brought kale from home. It goes really good with eggs," she said, adding some salt and pepper like that'll make it better. At his skeptical look, Lexi added, "What, don't you trust me?"
With my life, he didn't say.

Summary
He reaches out and gently - so as if not to ruin them — touches the braids wrapped around her head. Lexi’s never been touched like she’s precious before. Like she’s something someone would want to take care of and preserve.
“A fairy,” she repeats, trying to regain some semblance of control. “No one’s ever told me that before.”
Fez laughs. It’s not unkind. It’s husky, really, a deep sound. Lexi gets the impression he doesn’t laugh very often. She stores the sound in the back of her mind to mull over later.
Or: a short love story featuring hair.
