"Let's go check on it together~!" Dazai exclaimed, his tone shifted once more to that Dazai that Chuuya despised. Happy, humming and uncaring, as if nothing could touch him. Chuuya rallied against him, but with Dazai's hand on his arm it was useless.
So Chuuya gritted his teeth and sneered. When he saw Atsushi next, it would be a damned thing to take the kid and run. No more Port Mafia, no more Dazai, no more hidden secrets in the dark…what a dream.

It was after the three of them, Kamala, Miles, and Sam, had 'officially' become Avengers. They were all the same age, all used to being on their own and all treated like the younger 'less serious' members of the big conglomerate of a team known as the Avengers.
Kamala remembers Sam fidgeting when he approached them. Quite un-Nova like, if she did say so.
"We should, like," He paused to shuffle on his feet, rub the back of his neck and turn his head to the side. Miles gave Kamala a look. "Hang out or something sometime...if you guys wanted to."

"Oh hi!" She practically yelled. Her tone might be different, and she might not be as loud as Kunikida was before but she still yelled. Atsushi, wide-eyed and already overwhelmed, was frozen to silence.
"I'm Naomi!" She smiled, her dark eyes alight with something warm and bright. "You're the Tiger everyone's been talking about, huh? Do you think you can turn back into it? I've always wanted to feel a tiger's fur and Kenji says you looked so soft before. I bet you feel like heaven."
Atsushi blinked many times in a row. Here he was again with the same feelings as before, overwhelmed just from the smallest thing. Just from someone talking to him. He needed to get it together. He already decided that staying would be nice, now he just had to work to make it possible.
in which a little more is revealed about Atsushi and the Tiger, Dazai decides on adoption for his 'on-going life' crisis, the Tanizakis gains an immediate brother (with the Kenji not far behind), and the world shifts its focus just a little bit more.

Dazai was, for once, right, to call for backup before going through with the ridiculous 'bait' plan of his.
"Would you look at this!" Dazai's enthusiastic voice shouted amongst the sounds of crates being decimated by the Tiger, whipping and rushing about, in what looked like an attempt to get rid of the man clinging to its back. "My ability here seems to be unbelievably useless!"
That, Doppo cringed in his mind, locking eyes with Yosano who had never looked more shocked than she did now, is not a good thing, you moron!
in which Atsushi is a couple years younger, Beast Beneath the Moonlight is a god, Atsushi is it's host, and the story goes a little differently from there.

It took her a bit, it took a painful panic attack, a reminder of pain and a friendly warm face, but Mina finally got it. The pieces snapped into place and there wasn’t any if ands or buts about it.
Ashido Mina was somehow (and the how really wasn’t important) thrown into the past and there might not be any way home. And Ashido Mina was going to make damn sure there wasn’t a future like hers to return to. She was a hero. It’s about damn time she started saving people.

“Todd.” Damian had already abandoned the map where it laid out fully on his bed. Titus, finally joining his people, sniffed at the paper but made no move to lick it, which Damian was thankful for.
“I...need your help on something.” Damian refused to meet the other’s eye, occupying himself with packing a black backpack. If this was all going the way Damian thought it was, he’d need some supplies. A flashlight for one. Maps wouldn't shy from underground tunnels or sewers, he knew.
“Oh?” Todd’s voice took on a high pitched mocking tone that Damian did not care for. He narrowed his eyes to a glare before he even realized. “For what little bird?” His smile told Damian that Todd already knew for what.
“This-” His hand waved to the map, untouched. “Is the start of a scavenger hunt.” He said it with the conviction of someone who’d thought they’d solved an impossible problem. “And if I know Maps even just the littlest bit,” He continued as he went over and started putting the paper away carefully, “This is just the beginning piece. I may...need help to figure it all out.”
