“Tsk, tsk, Kant,” Bison purrs, leaning in close so their faces are inches apart. “You didn’t think you were going to get away with this that easy, did you? See, I think that you need to be taught a lesson. You were an informant. You nearly turned us in. Don’t you think that deserves a punishment?” Bison asks pleasantly.
Kant feels himself start to shake, but no matter how badly he wants to close his eyes and hide, he doesn’t. He meets Bison’s gaze head on and holds himself as still as he can. If punishment is what Kant needs to be forgiven by Bison, then he’ll take it, whatever it is.
Slowly, he nods his head.
“I knew you’d see it my way,” Bison murmurs, reaching up with his other hand to stroke his fingers down Kant’s cheek. “Now, I want you to be quiet and take everything that we give you.”
We? Kant thinks, confused. And then his eyes fly to Fadel’s cold stare and he feels his stomach drop.

He should really try to be a bit less excited about that last part.
