Summary
Happy Friday, freaks.
Your favorite product tester is back from the field, and by "field" I mean my bedroom, and by "back" I mean I can finally walk in a straight line again. Barely. This month's haul was ambitious. Three products, one session, zero regrets. My consulting editor (read: boyfriend) deserves hazard pay. He will not be receiving it.
Let's get into it.
Gojo Satoru reviews sex toys for a living. His boyfriend has no qualms about helping him out.

Summary
Something strikes Suguru, then. His need deepens.
It’s like it takes a physical shape, somewhere in the muscles of his thighs, just under his skin. They twitch with the intensity of it, rather violently.
Satoru sees, of course he does, moves a mesmerized hand down the quivering muscle.
“Oh, you want it.” Satoru breathes, looking down at Suguru with eyes aglow and expression a little ravenous.

Summary
Shoko keeps asking him if they fell out because of a fight, or something. He assures her it’s much simpler than that:
Satoru moved to Kyoto for university, and Suguru stayed in Tokyo. They didn’t really keep in touch.
Sad, sure— but such fates are met by plenty of childhood friends.
(He knows Shoko texts Satoru a lot, knows they kept in contact— and he wonders if she asks him the same question: Did you have a fight?
He wonders if Satoru gives her a different answer.)
//
Or: Despite all the memories coloring their childhood, at twenty-four, Suguru hadn't seen Satoru for years. And then he's there, again, in his life, abrupt and distracting and mesmerizing like a snowstorm, and Suguru has a lifetime or feelings he seems to have gotten too old to ignore.

“Y’know that guy?”
"Which?"
“Emo kid. Looks like he’d bite a lil’ bit. He’s got the, uh—the hair?” Sukuna waved his hand vaguely.
Satoru hummed, then shook his head. “Nope,” he said, popping the p.
“Go ask him out.”

Summary
The first time Suguru says, “I need to tell you something,” Satoru takes his hands and says, “Okay. Tell me everything.”
Years later, after remission, relapse, surgery, chemo, silence, and a house too large for the two people left inside it, Satoru says the same words back.
What follows is not forgiveness. Not yet.
It is the long work of repair.
ORRRR
Suguru had cancer. Satoru was mean.
It's more complicated than that. It's always more complicated than that.
