Summary
Scaramouche hasn't slept through the night for weeks. In fact, he hasn't slept at all this past week. His traveling partner, Kaedehara Kazuha, quickly takes notice of his partner's (and lover's) subpar fighting and is intent on giving him a good night's rest. Luckily, he has a close friend and detective, Shikanoin Heizou, that lives in nearby Inazuma city and frequently hosts Kazuha whenever he needs a warm place to rest. But alas, the detective's spare room is filled to the brim with files for his most recent case. He offers to share his futon with the others, but Scaramouche's reluctance puts a wrench into Kazuha's plan to give him the rest he deserves. However, Scaramouche's eyes are drooping more and more every second, and it's only a matter of time before his stubbornness gives in...

Summary
“Is that so? Then I guess I’d better finish this up quickly. I missed it the last time you two played.” He picks up the crate again, letting out a small grunt of effort, and the sound makes Scara want to ball his fists for some reason, but he restrains himself. Then Sethos leans toward him, very narrowly avoiding the space Scara considered personal. “I’ll be rooting for you when I get back, Hat Guy.” He says it jokingly, but his voice drops lower as he nears him, almost lost to the chatter of the cafe, though Scara’s ears catch it easily and he pulls the brim of his hat down to try and escape showing the way it buzzes around in his mind pleasantly.
“Whatever.” He mutters lamely.
In which Scaramouche finds Sethos immensely attractive and he doesn't know what to do with himself, so he resorts to an unfailing(?) tactic: denial.

Summary
Daryl’s teeth ground together. There was only so much a man could take and he’d taken far too much, being stuck on watch with goddamn Jesus for the last week. He didn’t know what Rick was playing at, assigning them together at every turn, but Daryl was hitting his breaking point.
“Quit makin’ that goddamn noise,” he snapped, the words coming out as a snal, vicious and barely restrained.
“Hm? What noise?” Jesus asked, looking at him with faux earnestness and a sparkle in his eyes that made Daryl want to punch him in the jaw. His arm itched at his side.
“You’re humming,” he ground out.
Jesus’ brow wrinkled and he tilted his head to the side, giving Daryl a quizzical look. His stupid hair fell over his shoulders and Daryl could only stare at it, wanting to raise a hand and smack it away.
“I’m just breathing, Daryl.”
“Yeah? Well I’m sick of hearin’ it so pipe down.”
“I can’t just stop breathing,” Jesus said, far too much amusement in his voice.
“You sure about that?” Daryl shot back. “Could help you figure it out.”
