Summary
Nene is told by her therapist that she has an “all or nothing” mentality when it comes to relationships that is unhealthy. But when Nene meets Amane, she can’t bring herself to change.
They become fast friends, and can’t bring themselves to stay away from each other for too long. They match each other’s energy perfectly and banter well. Their love seems to be dreamlike and all consuming, until their hidden issues start leaking through the cracks of both of their broken foundations.

As her day goes on, the three people closest to her cling to her and her time, scared they will run out of it too soon. Nene can't help but feel lonely even though everyone wants to spend time with her, and she can't help but crack under the pressure of her own thoughts.

Miles nearly spit out his iced tea at the question. “What?”
Phoenix didn’t even have the sense to look embarrassed. “Well, I never really asked when I propositioned you. It didn’t seem relevant, considering our agreement was for optics.”
“You think I was queerbaiting?” Miles gasped, scandalized.
Phoenix shrugged. “Six years ago you would have considered it tactfully advancing your career.”
“I spoke at pride events!” Miles exclaimed, drawing some dirty looks from the elderly couple in the booth across from them.
“All I’m saying is I’ve never seen you with anyone, especially not any men.”
Miles rolled his eyes at this. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t have any time to go on dates with handsome young pursuers while I was busy saving my husband who jumped off of a bridge!”
At 20 years old, Phoenix asks Miles Edgeworth to marry him. Fifteen years and a lot of W-2s later, they finally say their vows.

April May honestly didn't think prison was that bad... if you ignored the sheer boredom of nothing fun to do and the worst interior design choices you'd ever see. Unfortunately for her, many of the other inmates she ended up stuck rooming with didn't like her vibe, her tendency to gossip about everything she came across and bat her eyelashes to get her way. April couldn't help that everyone around her was boring.
This all changed the day Mimi Miney moved in as her new roommate. They click on a level April didn't know was possible, they get each other and have a lot of fun making fun of everyone around them. April realizes pretty soon into their relationship that she's in serious danger of falling hard for Mimi.
