It was the first thing Sam noticed, obviously.
Well, maybe not the first. He’d been a little preoccupied with Dean, whom he hadn’t seen or heard from in literal years, breaking into his apartment in the middle of the night. But once they were on their own, it peaked out from under the collar of Dean’s leather jacket, a little red and a little raised, but healed. Begging to be noticed. Sam had to pinch his thigh just to pull his attention away from it.
Dean had a bond mark.

Sam realizes that his father's absence might actually be an opportunity for growth.

“Dean? Dean, what’s wrong?” Sam asked, his voice shrill from fear and sleep. Dean turned his terrified gaze to their father. Sam didn’t understand it. Their father’s familiar scent— usually a powerful mix of gunpowder and herbs— was angry. It poured into the air like it was trying to snuff out the apple smell, hard around the edges and completely overwhelming. It made Sam’s eyes water. It was making Dean’s hands shake harder.

I have this recurring dream. It starts differently every time. Sometimes I’m flying, weaving between skyscrapers and diving down close enough to the cars to brush them with my fingers. Sometimes I’m standing on the tippy top of the Empire State Building, and I mean past the observation deck. Right on top of the spire. Just standing there like it’s any other day, watching the sun set over the Hudson. Or sometimes I’m just at work, waiting behind the counter during a slow afternoon, waiting for someone to walk in from off the street and end my boredom.
The recurring part is that then I realize I’m not alone.

MJ is visited by a mysterious man in her dreams. The problem is that she can never remember them.

Summary
The expression on Hailey's face was one of abject horror. Her eyes were wide, fresh tears pouring from them and leaving tracks in the grime on her cheeks. Her mouth was agape, ragged breaths and something that sounded like choked off sobs fighting each other in her throat. She was looking past Miles, over his shoulder to where the gunman had been. Miles turned.
There, swaying slightly between him and the gunman, stood Spider-Man. He was turned away from Miles, so that he could only see the back of him.
Warm bile rose to his throat when he realized he could see the inside of him too.

Spock regained consciousness slowly, his head cloudy and his senses dulled. He regained awareness more quickly. The first thing he noticed was the softness of the sheets he was laying on. He spread his fingers out over them, indulging himself in the contentedness he felt spread throughout his body. He felt as if he had been asleep for ages.
He blinked his eyes open, wincing slightly at the bright light that was bleeding in through the open windows, and tried to recall his last memory…
He was on New Vulcan, he realized suddenly, in a dwelling that had been provided for him by his father. Spock had been hungry. No—no, that was not correct. He had not been hungry, he had been… ravenous. Insatiable. Spock recalled how the feeling of fire had coursed through his veins, the way he had burned for his mate. His t’hy’la.

While on a research mission on Caelora 5, the Enterprise crew find a data chip accidentally left behind by a previous Starfleet team. It happens to belong to one Winona Kirk. Aside from research data, it contains various recordings of Winona's therapy logs, recorded immediately after the Kelvin disaster and in later years. Jim knows he shouldn't view them, but he can't help himself. Spock is left to pick up the pieces.
