    INSTANT bookmark and download, holy shit. this might actually be one of the best Marvel, if not one of the best fics across any fandom, that i've ever read. like genuinely holy shit i feel like i need to sit down despite already being in bed. if i could give this fic 10,000 kudos i'd be hitting that button all 10,000 times. i just.. wow. holy hecking WOW.

    Thor knew something was weird, he was just not quite able to put his finger on it. His Father had hastened him to return to Earth, weakening himself in the process, no doubt, as the Rainbow Bridge was still...out of commission to say the least. What he had not expected was to have his father wish him to return with his brother, Loki. He had thought Loki dead, but it would seem that was not quite correct. That alone is suspect, he had fallen into the Void, after all, and none survive the void. Needless to say, his twist of memories, though Thor knew a good portion of what he had told him on the rock was true, there was something that ringed...off with what he was saying. It made more sense when he got more information though, but he had no idea how to fix his little brother.

    Summary

    This is my rewrite of the HTTYD franchise, from the first movie onwards. It includes new characters, extra scenes, expanded world-building (or rather, actual world-building, if you know what I mean) and plenty of my own headcanons. Some stuff will stay the same, other things might be changed entirely. As for why I’m doing this? Good question! Mostly it’s because this is a (relatively) simple project I can work on when I’m not busy with more important things, and since the LA is coming out I figured now was as good a time as any to post it. How long I’ll be able to keep it up is another matter, but I hope you enjoy it for now!

    Izuku Midoriya's Quirk was...dangerous. Since the age of four he knew what true nightmares were made of. Demons were the soldiers of hell, and they made it their mission to terrify him for fun. Peeling skin, black sillouhettes, and grating screams that froze him in place where only a part of it. Their words and dark hymns followed him, crushing his body and soul.

    But not as much as his mother did. Inko was prone to using her fists and venomous words to beat him down, and she was worse than the demons who followed him day and night.

    "God does not shine upon you,"

    The demons repeated it like a mantra, and they were all right. God hated them all, the fallen wingless angels who he damned for eternity. He loathed Izuku too, the boy who could see them. Izuku was cursed with an uncontrollable Quirk, but he tamed those demons. They were his, and his alone.

    God sneered at him, and he smiled devilishly back. God had given the demons exactly what they needed...

    Izuku Midoriya. A King.

    after their wedding night Harry has a dream of his parents being there for him and he wakes up and basically the unimaginable grief of knowing your life goes on when theirs (whoever it is parent etc. dies) doesn't ✌🏾. PLEASE be gentle with yourselves because this definitely is grief heavy but I swear Draco is so sweet and gentle with Harry though and comforts him.

     

    Excerpt: “You’re doing wonderfully, love, promise. Keep breathing.”

     

    Harry’s trembling a bit still and then he sort of just melts into Draco. He goes headfirst, face seeking out the pale curve of Draco’s neck. His mouth wobbles against the warm skin there. Draco shivers every other puff of breath.

     

    You would think—with the way he pulls Harry closer by his waist, slips his arm under his pajama shirt to hold him skin against skin—that he’s an expert in this late night kind of comfort; this two souls burning for each other, aching, die if they don’t touch you, hold you kind of comfort.  He is not. Or, he wasn’t. He was taught by Harry."
