The war is done, the price for peace is paid in blood. With Rhaenyra's execution and the dissolution of the Blacks comes a new dawn of desperate solicitudes and hasty betrothals, a last attempt to heal severed ends. Few dragons remain, and fewer riders live to tell the tale. Burnt and bruised, the Realm and its people must now brace for a harsh winter.
Aemond, gone from his seat at Dragonstone for over a moon's turn to put an end to The Red Kraken's raids, has yet to marry and mate his nephew, much to the Royal Council's displeasure and unrest.
Meanwhile Jacaerys, battered with loneliness and grief put afresh once the last of his brothers are dispatched to King's Landing as wards, flees to the cold and distant embrace of the North.

Greens win and omega Jace is betrothed to his alpha uncle Aemond, but the loser takes too long (7 months) to claim him so Jace runs to hot northern alpha Cregan instead. Rumours arise across the realm and well, Aemond is not known to share :D

It was for the best. Jacaerys thought. He was an orphan with nothing to his name, and Aemond was a second son bound to build his own fortune as his brother, ever greedy, had decided nought of it shall go to Aemond’s inheritance.
