The cat-cakes would paw at Veritas’s legs as usual, but this time it wasn’t for his attention. No, they would flap their tiny paws in the direction of the television, all but wailing insistently. Veritas even caught Filet Mignon trying to operate the remote himself one time.
It was actually wonderful. They stayed on the sofa, watching their silly little show, and Veritas was left to peacefully go about his business. He smirked to himself at one point at how quiet the flat was for once. Ten points, Veritas.
And then, the unthinkable happened.
Veritas is still adjusting to domestic life with Aventurine and the cat-cakes. Little does he know that sometimes even the silliest of things can capture a learned man's attention.

“Oh my GOD, finally you wake up!” Chigiri, the stuck up princess who doesn’t stop trying to talk to someone who is already dead, was over him and shaking him awake “Prince is definitely going to kill us”
“Where…am I?” he replied coldly, trowing one leg out of the bed and standing up opposite to Chigiri. The other one just laughed back mockingly.
“Kunigami…” Chigiri tried getting his attention, but it was to no avail. Rensuke stared at one of the jerseys in the closet with his name on top, the blue hues taking over his sight. Over the big 55, with Manshine City’s colors, it read…his name “…this is your room”
Rensuke Kunigami wakes up, yet something is wrong. Everyone around him treats him like a friend, his body is different, and now his team is Manshine City instead of Bastard München. What the hell is going on?!
OR: Our Hero is thrown into an alternate universe where he never went to Wild Card or got locked off and has to maintain his relationships with others. Especially with Chigiri, who makes him realize things about himself and about how to love again.
