really amazing. the way writes feels almost lyric. This work is not about an au that I never read before, but the line and sentences and all the feelings contained in it still makes my cry a lot.

Amazing work. I love how the plot developed and how every character acts in this AU. It feels like everything is bound by fate. Not in a passive “just accepting it” way, but in a way where they genuinely embrace it with all their hearts and still choose to walk their own path.

Gladio reaches out a hesitant hand to hover uncertain above Noctis’ wrist. Noctis stares at it. He knows Gladio is awaiting an answer, but he is afraid, afraid that Gladio will reach for him and his hands will sink right through his hologram skin. Noctis is no longer sure he is human, might not have a body at all.

'Lucas' is as good a name as any when he can't remember his real one. The way people talk about the Night, not to mention his scars and the nightmares he has sometimes, he isn't sure he wants to remember. He's content to spend his days fishing the Sathersea, hunting in the wilderness of Piztala, and generally doing whatever he wants to. It's been long enough that he's made his peace with the fact that no one's looking for him, that probably no one's left to look for him.
