This fanfic is based on the movie "Love and Wine" (and yes, I only watched it for Masali ;) but it’s only an inspiration, so don’t expect a copy-paste adaptation!
English isn’t my first language, so please be kind. I’m not very good at writing summaries, so I’d recommend giving the story a try and forming your own opinion :)

This is my take on what Season 5 might look like. I simply could not wait a year and a half to see how the story goes, so I decided to write a version of it myself in the meantime and one of the reasons i decided to write this story is because i kept imagining, a scene that will be at the end of chapter 7, over and over again in my head with a certain song playing in the background and i had to write a full story around it so please enjoy!Bookmarked by onlythrewthisparty4u

You get a steady, unobjectionable partner and in turn, the estate. I get a reprieve from my family's haranguing, as they'll see I'm happily coupled. Nobody needs to know that our partnership is platonic masquerading as something more."
OR
Michaela can’t inherit the Stirling Estate unless she reforms her womanizing ways and Francesca can’t get her family to cease their incessant badgering about her finding true love. Realizing they both stand to gain from a relationship, they start up a fake one. Inconveniently for their plan, they’re already in love.
