Summary
“What’s wrong.” Soap asks, because his sister has been too quiet for far too long.
The grating noise in the background is swallowed completely by her next words:
“He’s dead, John.”
Or: The death of Soap’s father brings him closer to his lieutenant.

Summary
“Let’s solve ourselves a new case, eh DI?”
“Fucking hell,” Ghost mutters and decides to keep walking.
DI Simon Riley is transferred to Banff - a small, coastal town in Scotland, located on the beautiful North Sea. Only problem is the assigned loudmouth of a Sergeant, John MacTavish, and the fact that his first murder victim is a funeral director, found in a coffin in his own funeral home.
Riley hates both, loudmouths and coffins. Sheperd, his former boss in Manchester, has a lot of explaining to do. Why this town? And why this case?

Summary
Soap doesn’t know what the fuck they are but one thing’s for sure: he won’t let Ghost scare him away. Even if that means he’ll be treated like shit. But that doesn’t matter because Soap doesn’t feel anything for the man anyway. Just teammates with benefits. Right??
Or: Ghost is a psychopath asshole who seems keen on making Soap’s life a (horny) mess.

Summary
Soap did not close the gap; he never did, and neither did Ghost. He wondered if Ghost felt it as much as he did. Ghost’s hands were still resting against his thighs, and Soap found himself wondering what would happen if he reached out and held one.
Ghost would probably cut his hand off, Soap reasoned, but there was still that stupid flicker of hope. Soap had nurtured that flicker for years now, never quite letting it die but never feeding it much either. He was not in denial about his feelings towards his Lieutenant, but he certainly was not planning to act on them any time soon.
There was too much risk of losing what little connection he had with the mysterious man, and Soap was not willing to take that risk. So, he stayed content in the grey area, in the almosts and the maybes. It was all he would ever have, and he had come to accept that.
Still, if he just so happened to drift off and his shoulder lightly grazed Ghost’s, who was to say that was on purpose?
OR
Soap becomes the target of a wealthy crime family when he kills their leader. He deals with this while also coming to terms with his sister's death, his Catholic upbringing, and his feelings for Ghost.

Summary
Ghost lets himself be pulled up slightly, his hand just as steady on Soap's thigh. "That what you need, Johnny?" he asks, licking his lips behind the balaclava. Soap’s eyes drop to his mouth, flick back up. "You wanna draw blood? Be in control?"
"Lt–" Soap starts, lips parted on a rough exhale. A plea or a warning, Ghost can't tell. He's too focused on the way Soap's pupils dilate, and the way the edge of the knife digs into the fabric at his throat.
---
When Graves rears his head not ten days after Las Almas Ghost starts questioning Soap's loyalty, and with it whatever's left of his own sanity.

Summary
John wanted to join the army ever since his cousin, David, took him on a tour of his base. That is where John took an interest in explosions.
Facing disapproval from his family but wanting to follow his cousin’s footsteps, Soap sighs up. He becomes the youngest soldier to join the SAS, earning a few medals before he’s even 21.
He strives to the best soldier he can be and with the help of his fellow SAS solider, Franklin, he’s able to do that. Further into his military career, he’s reunited into task force 141 At just 23, hand picked by Captain John Price.
John is an accomplished solider but with the hard work that comes with being an accomplished solider at a young age, there’s sacrifices one must make.
Or a slow burn story for Soap and Ghost that focuses more on the friendships and relationships Soap makes with the other members of the 141 and his family. Mostly fluff with a bit of war and canon timeline up until MW3. Probably a lot of OOC because I don't really think Soap is as loud as people think he is, and I don't think Ghost is as mean and mysterious as others think either.
