Summary
Jayce stands at the door of his best friend's house, flowers that he's plucked from his mother's garden clutched tightly in his hands in a makeshift bouquet.
He knows his mother will be upset when she finds out that he's picked from her daisies, lilacs, and primroses, but he doesn't care. He should be worried about what sort of punishment he'll get for doing it without her permission, but he's much more terrified of the probability that he's going to be rejected by his best friend—and crush—Viktor.

Summary
With his nose shoved into his notes, he doesn't hear when someone takes a seat at a table on the other side of the bookshelf. Not until books begin sliding out of their spots. The sound of fluttering pages reaches his ears, then they're placed back on the shelf.
"Come on, where is it…" A voice says quietly. He's even more muffled by the wall of books between them. The man curses to himself, and not quietly, mind you. He's practically throwing a mini-fit that only gets worse with every book he inspects.
Viktor tries to refocus his attention on his studies, but the noise only worsens.
With the thump of another book on the shelf, and a slightly louder curse from the stranger, Viktor rips a slip of paper from his journal and scribbles down a message.

Viktor’s head is full of cotton. He’s lighter than air, and it’s like nothing he’s ever felt before. For once, he doesn’t feel the ache in his leg. His face is so close to Jayce’s, and he can’t help but think about how much more handsome he is up close, how he wishes he could kiss him.
Jayce snickers, and it's then that Viktor realizes he said it out loud. He looks at the man with wide eyes, stuttering out what he thinks is an apology as Jayce’s hand slides down his spine, fingers just barely brushing the shirt he’s wearing. His hand hovers near the curve of his ass, not grabbing it the way Viktor wants, and it’s driving him up the wall.
“What’s stopping you?” Jayce asks.OR
Viktor and his friends are invited backstage to meet his favorite band. Jayce sneaks him into his trailer for some one-on-one time.
