    This is a pre-Thomas Maze Runner fanfic. This is also my first time writing a fanfic, so I am still figuring everything out, so I apologise in advance <3

    At first, there was nothing, just a hollow, numbing sensation that washed over me as my most cherished and most hated memories dissolved into a sea of oblivion. My entire world was slipping away, and then, my own mind collapsed into the vast emptiness. The darkness came next, thick and absolute, but the terror I expected never arrived. Instead, a bizarre calm settled over me. I welcomed the void with a faint smile. The only thing that echoed through the hollow chambers of my mind was a cool, detached voice speaking into the dark: "Wicked is good."
