The appointment with Andy is something of a last resort-it's not like the woman needs the reminder of Bellatrix anymore than Hermione herself does. But who Andromeda suggests might help will send them both-all three of them, really-down into a spiral where their hearts might just become collateral damage to Hermione's eventual salvation.

Something had driven Bruce Wayne out Gotham, its inhabitants and children were both grossly unaware of what had transpired one cold night, but they were overwhelmingly aware that without Batman they were the only ones between Gotham and the villains that cackled in the shadows.
Bruce Wayne had fled Gotham and traipsing after him went Batman, the Dark Knight himself.
And left behind, shivering in the cold rain of Gotham City were the children he'd collected and abandoned in that same breath.
Lena Luthor had moved to Gotham in the wake of her brother's insanity, Superman and his influence had plummeted the Luthor names reputation and left Lena desperately clawing at the remnants of her business and integrity.
Only she didn't remain in Gotham long and when she left she wasn't alone.
