Summary
Link’s eyes move to follow each speaker. Laser precision, almost mechanical. He had fought machines and monsters alike, but apparently nothing had prepared him enough for this betrayal. Link catches Sidon’s eyes. He is also livid, barely holding in an anger Link has never seen before. It is the one thing that shakes him. Link is used to his own rage, the simmering frustration. To see Sidon as affected as Link feels scares him.
(alternatively titled: in which Zelda dabbles in Hyrule politics and Link tries not to murder everyone)
