Being in the foster system is hard enough but being a werewolf in it is even harder. Who wants a kid who's a beast, a moon child, a lie?
Tommy is sick of wondering. He's sick of wanting a pack, wanting a family so why is it—when he finally gives up—there comes along a family who threatens to tear down all his walls? Who he wants to slip past them and hold him?
It doesn't seem fair.

Summary
Tommy has never handled storms well.
When he was a child, before Phil found him, he’d huddle between the houses in villages in an attempt to stay dry. It was better, of course, after Phil took him in. He wasn’t wet or hungry or sick anymore, but he’d always been embarrassed of the way the crack of lightning made his breath catch in his throat. Luckily, it never rained in L’manberg. It’s one of the reasons he’d loved it so much. It never rained, no matter who lived and who died, who won and who lost.
And then, Tommy had been exiled, and for the first time in months, Tommy saw rain.
He looks up into the vast expanse of the sky, raindrops dripping down his cheeks and into his ears, and thinks, you’re just as sad as I am, aren’t you?
As pathetic as it is, he sees the sky as a friend of sorts, then.
You see, he could scream his pain into the sky as loud as he wanted, and the sky would keep his secrets till the end of time.
(or, tommy is not okay, physically or mentally.

He's lying, and it's hard because he's never been the best at it, but he doesn't have much of a choice here. He's- Tommy, and Niki is Niki. Her shifted form is a fucking dove for prime's sake. She's the symbol of love and peace, universally liked. She's written into the bible by Jesus H. Christ, that's how loved she is.
Tommy isn't written into anything, isn't anywhere. He couldn't possibly compare.

Summary
In his bones, the ache of loneliness has set in. Worse than that, the seatbelt digs into his ribs and one of his arms is twisted uncomfortably. Broken, maybe. The ship has realigned, and he can hear the dinging warning of oxygen leaks and damage, flashing red lights, but he lets his head drop to his chest. He closes his eyes.
Tommy is alone.
Floating in the middle of space as his water supply runs out is the last place that Tommy wants to be, but he's resigned to the fact that it might be his fate. That is, until a ship finally picks up on his transmissions...

Summary
Philza, an immortal wanderer exploring an abandoned world with only a flock of crows for company, and the story of how the three loudest crows in the chat figure out how to shapeshift into human forms and send him into an early grave (metaphorically, since one of them keeps jumping in front of baby zombies for him, but also it's very possible that it may become literal very soon since another doesn't seem to have grasped the fact that lava is not fun to swim in).

IRL setting. Dream is Tommy's adoptive gurdian after Wilbur dies and Phil gives up custody. He's abusive so Tommy runs away and lives with Techno.
Sequel is the aftermath of the first fic, plus a oneshot from Wilbur's POV of Tommy's childhood.Amazing, really good angst. Pacing is really well done and lots of stuff happens but isn't overwhelming.

SBI as family, Tommy is expelled from college and Wilbur returns from leaving for five years. Family problems that they all contribute to and then work to fix.
Favorite. Don’t read if you’re sad about your family but very cathartic. Great descriptors for dialogue and symbolism and imagery. Bittersweet but hopeful ending.
