Summary
On the continent of Faerûn, Astor, a vampire desperate for freedom, and Nightingale, a mage obsessed with magic, find themselves drawn onto the same path.
A dark fantasy story about ambition, obsession, power, and two deeply flawed people who should never have worked together. As their strength grows, so too does the danger they pose to the world—and to each other.
An Alternate Universe fanfic following Baldur’s Gate 3 and Forgotten Realms lore. Astor is partially based on Ascended Astarion Origin, while Nightingale is inspired by God Gale Origin. The story is similar to the evil route of the game, with Astor as party leader.

Summary
Tav, Astarion and the others have crossed paths with a travelling Gur, and decided to trade him some of their accumulated “treasure” - or as Astarion calls it, their “miscellaneous junk.”
But there's something strange about this Gur - his two companions, his cool little red fez, and his unusual dark blue caravan, which seems to be ... bigger on the inside?
***
Fortunately, after a very stressful half-hour, the door inside the caravan opened and the Gur made his way out, carrying a wide, squat bookshelf of polished wood. Tav held the other end, and together they placed it alongside the dark blue caravan.“Come look, Astarion,” she said. But he was already there, pointedly deciding not to offer to help carry the heavy object, as punishment for her foolish disregard for her own safety.
Where would he be, if the Gur murdered her? Selfish, is what she was, and he fully intended to scold her later for it, when he wasn’t apoplectic with rage.
“What do you think?” she asked, smiling brightly.
“It’s just a shelf, darling,” he said dismissively, wondering why she thought he’d care.
“I got it for you, you imbecile. It’s for your …” she glanced at the Gur. “… wine bottles.”
