Stelle winced internally. "But anyways, I promise Dan Heng isn't normally like this! Okay, he's pretty quiet most of the time. But he definitely isn't this murderous! Actually wait, that's a lie. There's this one dude— Blade. But he's insane. Silverwolf says he won't play co-op with her even though he's such a good gamer. Anyways! Those two fight so often I can't tell if they actually hate each other or if it's some weird foreplay. One time I saw Dan Heng stab him in the chest and walk away from his dead body and then literally an hour later they were cuddling. But then he snapped at me when I asked if they were mates! How rude!" Belatedly, she realized she probably shouldn't be talking about murder and foreplay to a random child. Ugh. Where was March when you needed her?
"Oh…" Tribbie mused. "So they're just like Snowy and De!"
Stelle did a double take. "Wait, what?"
or: when cloud piercer breaks, blade defies all odds and forces himself into amphoreus. chaos ensues. now, stelle is stuck between not one but two lovesick, pining not-couples. oh, if only a beautiful pink haired woman would come and save her!

Khaslana sets Helios down on his feet. He wobbles over, but stays planted. He spreads his arms. "Good. Now walk to me."
Helios stares up at him with wide golden eyes, then promptly falls flat on his butt. He bursts into tears. Khaslana sighs.
Somehow, raising a child is harder than preventing the rise of Irontomb.
In an unknown cycle, Phainon and Mydei welcome a child -- a sweet, tiny baby boy. And when the end of the world comes, Khaslana can't bring himself to leave the child behind.

What followed was a long winded scolding from Khaslana, who proceeded to pick apart all of Stelle's flaws ("Your desk is a mess! Your attire is not work appropriate. You were supposed to turn in the progress report a week ago! Yada yada yada—")
Stelle thought bitterly that Khaslana would look a lot more handsome if he simply stopped yelling all the time. Then she took notice of the lack of a ring on his left hand and wondered if her boss was just chronically married to his work.
("It's because he's bitchless and chopped that he's taking it out on us!" Stelle would complain to Dan Heng later during their meet up. Behind the counter, Mydei dropped his plate from how hard he was laughing.)
or: despite being an engineer, stelle gets hired to work at a law firm. she decides that her efforts are better off spent setting up her boss with his ex.

Mydei rolled his eyes. They continued watching the children play for a brief moment. Finally, he mused, "It's a bit weird though. Asteria had hair that was a lot lighter than mine. I can't recall my hair ever being that light."
"Well, yeah," Phainon said. "It makes sense. My Khaslana form has light blonde hair, too."
Mydei twisted in his seat to look up at him. "What? Why would she have hair like—"
He paused.
Come to think about it, he had never really figured out what happened that one night.
or: ten years after the fall of irontomb, mydei finds himself outnumbered by three white-haired, blue-eyed puppies. a drunken night hopefully fixes the problem (or does it...?)

"Okay!" Hyacine cheered. Castorice was away on a mission, and Cipher wasn't to be trusted around children. Professor Anaxa was… Professor Anaxa. The Tribios were children themselves. That left her as their primary caretaker. "Phainon, Mydei, wanna go on a trip?" She turned around.
The bed was empty, sans Little Ica munching on some fabric. Her jaw dropped. Did Little Ica actually eat Phainon and Mydei? But Mydei was too bony! He would get a stomachache!
Wait a minute.
"Oh no!" Hyacine wailed. "Little Ica ate the kids!"
Or: Mydei and Phainon are hit with a de-aging curse and transform into two very adorable and high maintenance children. Enter Hyacine: Amphoreus's most beloved healer and the world's best babysitter (self-proclaimed!) With Little Ica by her side, there's nothing she can't do!

If Megumi knows anything about the man who he’s been following around for the better part of his life, it’s that he's Gojo Satoru, the Strongest before he is anything else. It’s one of the things Megumi hates the most about him.

Megumi shrugs. "It wasn't planned," he says. And softer, he adds, "We never discussed it before. Yuuji and I, I mean."
"Don't tell me Yuuji's not onboard?" Satoru sounds genuinely curious, and that's when the dam breaks.
OR: Megumi contends with the difficulty of an accidental pregnancy with no surety of the other parent's support and involvement, while Yuuji makes a mistake and tries to fix it.

“Be quiet!” Inumaki-senpai finally shrieks, the powerful wash of his voice flaring around the car’s tiny space like a gong. Immediately, the idiots both choke, words forcibly cut off as their vocal chords silence.
'Oh thank god,' Nobara thinks.
