Summary
Uzumaki Naruto had never had an easy life. He spent most of his life bouncing from foster home to foster home until he finally hit rock bottom. If not for the kindness of a social worker that had finally made an effort to see him as more than just another problem child, Naruto probably wouldn't be able to smile the way he did today.
In stark contrast to him, Uchiha Sasuke had lived a good life, surrounded by family and a brother who adored him... until it was all ripped away in a car accident. Hounded by questions surrounding that bizarre day, Sasuke had slipped into an ever darker hole until all he could think about was finding answers to those mysteries.
Their stories collide in the prestigious Konoha High School where Sasuke has struggled to follow in his brother's footsteps and somehow bring himself closer to the truth about him. It's been nearly two years since Sasuke left with Orochimaru. Sasuke was certain he'd left everything from Konoha behind. Ties cut. Bonds broken.
