Summary

Having been hit by a powerful Otsutsuki attack, Temari is now stuck as a child for the foreseeable future and she doesn't remember a thing. Now Shikamaru must look after her to the best of his ability, trying desperately to navigate her childhood trauma while also keeping the truth of her situation from her.

Thanks to some research done by Anya, the escape in Spiral is to a different dimension, where hopefully they should be safe from Glory’s all-powerful grasp until the window for the apocalypse passes. But trying to get home will be another matter altogether, in a world where humans are slaves, vampires undergo peculiar transformations, and Cordelia Chase is the messiah. Reuniting with old friends doesn’t guarantee things will get any easier, especially if their enemies also team up to maintain the status quo. What does it mean to be The Key? A couple of years after defeating the First (and dragging Spike back from LA), Buffy's settled into a good life. She has her friends and her sister and the Slayer school all up and running in Scotland. To top it all off, Buffy and Spike have settled into a good working friendship. It's great. Everything is totally great. Well, Buffy could do without this cold. It's not easy being a girl from SoCal in the UK.
Except, this winter, this winter might be here to stay unless Buffy (and Spike, of course) can put the seasons back to rights.

Summary

She plays it safe, astrally projecting just her spirit into other dimensions while she learns. As she grows stronger, she guides herself easily to what she wants to see or experience, like a world with beautiful gardens or diamonds raining from alien skies.
One day she sends her spirit out in search of love... and finds Spike alone in his realm, where time moves at a different pace. The two recapture their friendship, and Dawn sends her spirit to visit his regularly. She doesn't think her sister really cared about Spike, so she never bothers telling her. “Prove it,” Dawn repeated.
Dawn has had enough of her sister slinking around behind everyone’s backs with Spike. No more hiding, it’s time to bring it all out into the… well, not quite “light”, but you get the idea.
What better way to do that, than by setting Buffy up on some truly disastrous dates until she cracks?
