Thinking clearly on it now it had been irrational, a complete overreaction to what had happened. He had abandoned everything he had known for a life that was objectively shit in comparison, cut off all his friends, never told his bosses that he was quitting, and moved to a more expensive city. All over a fucking relationship he had not been truly invested in for a long time.
"Identity crisis?" Katsuki tried, trying to worm his way out of the question.
Or: Katsuki had slowly distanced himself from everyone, feeling like life had passed him by and he would be dragging everyone down. He moves across the country in a spur of the moment decision and expects nothing, but finds everything instead in the way of his upstairs neighbor.
