Lithe fingers circle Cyno's wrist as he's tugged along. He stumbles for a moment before his brain catches up, bogged down by his febrile state. "Wait, I can't simply leave—"
"I'll send word that you're ill," Kaveh interrupts, able to drag Cyno even when the older plants his feet. That alone tells Cyno how much of his strength has abandoned him. "They'll understand."
Cyno falls silent after that, the way the world spins around him enough to make any further argument die on his tongue.
