Summary
A girl's guide to high society, schooling, Death Eating, and survival:
‘This is not your first act of violence at Hogwarts, Mr Rosier.’
‘Barty and Regulus have been in plenty of fights, professor. Nott and the others too. I wouldn’t say it is uncommon.’
Dumbledore was nodding, but his gaze firmed, his eyes trying to reach something inside of Evan that simply wasn’t open to him, or wasn’t there at all. ‘Violence does nothing but cause more violence, Evan. Fire and fire will only burn down more houses.’
Evan’s jaw clenched as the professor rose, moving to stand in front of him. Dumbledore would usually, at this point, set a hand on the shoulder of the boy, but not Evan Rosier, who was glaring at him as if he wished he were alight himself.
‘Your friends fight, Evan. You burn. Do you understand me? The difference. You must learn to control yourself, before you’re a man who can do much more harm than a boy.’

Summary
Fate, destiny or however you want to call it, hasn’t shown favour to Daphne Bell—a half-blood witch with a hunting past—but against any forces or circumstances, she’s willing to change the prophecy and be the dictator of her own life (or even her death). She will manipulate the narrative, even if sacrifices are to be made along the way.
Morality seems to be another obstacle in her path, and defiant choices should be made. Some may argue that the ends justify the means, but Daphne will have to learn that wisdom cannot be achieved without the natural effect of her actions. Morality and ethics may be bendable, but consequences, however, cannot.
Meanwhile, James Potter —a wizard known for his steadfast ideals— encounters a great dilemma. Perhaps his principles weren’t built on rock as he thought, since they started to quickly waver down in the face of Daphne's stormy influence. The prince in shining armour isn't sure he can rescue his queen. Can his saviour complex avert an impending war and mend everything that’s broken—including her?— English isn’t my first language. Feel free to correct me, just be nice, please.
—Long fic, slow-burn.

Summary
When a form of ancient, near-forgotten magic saves her from meeting her tragic destiny, Hermione Granger finds herself navigating the forties with one goal in mind: to definitely destroy the cause of her ills once and for all. But when strange, fragmented memories, soaked in old magic, let her glimpse a lost, unreachable past, things turn out to be more complex than she initially thought. The closer she gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to carry out the one thing she came to do.
A/N: You don’t need to know anything about Hogwarts Legacy to enjoy this story. All essential elements are explained within the fic. Readers familiar with the game may notice a few subtle references sprinkled throughout. Not required, but fun to spot.
