    Kanemura Setsuko has always wanted to be a hero just like her uncle, Aizawa Shouta. One problem though: her mother is avidly against heroes, and won't let Setsuko go to U.A. despite her acceptance. Aizawa comes to the rescue, and lets Setsuko live with him while she attends U.A. Now begins her life with her uncle and class 1-A, her journey to become a hero, and challenges that no teenager should have to face. At least Setsuko's not alone anymore.

    Fic inspired by itsmyartfam's The Roundabout Way of Fate. Takes place in a slight AU where Izuku’s quirk is still kind of Healing Energy… but skewed a little, and he doesn’t know it. Starts at the beginning of Chapter 34 and diverges from there.

    When Izuku was five years old, he learned he had a healing quirk. When Izuku was ten, he learned what that quirk meant to the world. When Izuku met All Might, he learned what his quirk meant to his hero.

    When Izuku met All for One, he realized just how wrong everyone was.

    Katsuki can do nothing but blink up at them for moments that feel like an eternity, eyes darting between both his parents in obvious confusion, disbelief, and, more than anything, indignation.
    "What the fuck are you two talking about? The damn nerd is standing right beside you!"

     

     

    During a battle, Midoriya gets hit by a villain whose quirk detaches his soul from his body. Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.

    Alternatively: Deku and Kacchan are soulbound.

    The truth is that Childe has a secret. The truth is that Childe doesn’t remember much of his time in Liyue. He remembers the boring, seemingly endless paperwork, remembers collecting the sigils of permission that became a crucial part of his plan, remembers the fall of the Geo Archon at the Rite of Descension, summoning the Overlord of Vortex, fighting Lumine at the Golden House, and at the end of it all, finding out that he had been one-upped by Signora, the eighth harbinger.

    What he doesn’t remember, however, is everything outside of that. He doesn’t remember how he spent his leisure time in Liyue, what he had for lunch and dinner, how the first Lantern Rite he experienced was like. There are gaps in his memories that he doesn’t know how to fill, periods in his stay in Liyue that feel like endless, dark pits. He had never felt the need to fill the gaps, because all he needs to know is that he had played his part excellently and met all the Geo Archon’s expectations.

    But after seeing how concerned the travelling duo looked... he supposes his business trip to Liyue would be a good chance as any to start piecing them together.

    And perhaps he could start with this mysterious man named Zhongli.
