Summary
Syd and Carmy swore it meant nothing—just one reckless night, a mistake, erased the moment she walked out of The Bear. No confessions, no labels, safer left in the dark.
A year later, both moved on. Sydney is with Daniel, Carmy with Olivia. They haven’t spoken in months, until fate pulls them back together: a five day wedding by the beach, with endless cycle of dinners, games, and family closeness. And at the center of it all, the twist neither of them saw coming: Daniel and Olivia are siblings.
For five days, every smile feels loaded. Every touch is a reminder, every silence too loud. What they buried still burns between them, sharp and dangerous.
And this time, there’s nowhere to run.

"His hand comes up to cup her cheek in one swift move. It makes her gasp ever-so-slightly. She forgets how to breathe. She can’t hear anything. Can’t see anything other than the man in front of her with his dirty blond curls, his pretty eyes, his crooked nose, and some of the slight moles on his cheeks. His skin turns a little red, but he doesn’t move his hand. And Sydney, all she can do is lean into the touch.
His palm is big and warm, and her face fits in there perfectly. She allows herself to close her eyes as she rests there. Her stomach flutters. He steps closer.
'I’m,' he begins, to which Sydney shudders, 'I’m right here, Syd. For now. I’m right here. Whatever you need, just ask. I’ll do it.'
For now
Sydney releases a long breath. Her shoulders droop. His scent, soft cologne and cigarettes, clean and smoky at the same time, fills her senses.
She melts."

Summary
Jimin had always planned to be a good little omega to his future mate. He planned to be amenable, do as he’s asked, not ask any questions. It’s how he was taught, after all.
