Summary
Past the small building, the shoreline of Rusty Lake is broken up by clusters of black jagged boulders, and the sand takes on a greyer hue. The air seems to chill as he approaches the murky waters, and he knows it's because the lake is angry at Paradise. Grian had lived on the island his whole childhood, and yet he’s never seen the lake so tumultuous.
Almost in a trance, Grian crouches down and dips a delicate hand into the water. A demanding whisper rolls down his spine.
“I’ll help,” he whispers back to the lake. “I’ll fix this, somehow.”---
Grian Eilander returns to Paradise, his family's island, for the first time in years to help rid them of a curse. But when he arrives, the memories of his childhood are almost completely gone, and his whole family seems to know something he doesn't. Some terrible family secrets, a few cult sacrifices, and ten curses later, who knows what will be left of Paradise and those who dwell upon it.
(Or: a monstrous amalgamation of life series and Rusty Lake lore- with a little hermitcraft sprinkled in. Just for fun.)

Summary
He felt like crying, but the tears refused to come.
He felt like screaming at the unfairness of it all, but he wouldn’t. He would stay composed for Tommy, he would be the big brother that he would need when the inevitable realization hits him.
Tommy, sensing his distress, sat next to him on the bed.
“What’s wrong, Wilby?” he asked, innocent and unsuspecting.
Without warning, he wrapped his arms around Tommy and clung to him like a lifeline, keeping himself grounded. Tommy was warm.
Tommy made a small sound of surprise, before hugging Wilbur back.
Wilbur was ten. Ten was too young to be raising your baby brother, too young to be making your own decisions, to be alone. Wilbur was ten, and he had never felt more alone in his life.---
or, Wilbur tries to cope with his life always spiraling out of his control, take care of his brothers, and maybe for once be happy with where he's going. He didn't mean to get caught up in a criminal operation, but sometimes life doesn't work the way you want it to.

Summary
“I’m Sam Warden, by the way,” Sam said, walking alongside Tommy, presumably in the direction of his home.
“Didn’t ask, don’t care.”
“This is your stop,” Tommy said, putting one hand on his hip and shooing Sam off.
“Look, kid-”
“Not a kid.”
“Tommy, listen.” Sam pulled out an old receipt from his wallet and scribbled down his phone number. “If you ever need help, ever. For anything. Feel free to call me.”---
or, 5 times Sam acted like Tommy's dad, and the 1 time he was.

Summary
Fundy's eyes flicked between Wilbur and Tommy, before realization dawned in his eyes. "Oh god, you're inviting him to L'manburg, aren't you."
"L'manburg?" Tommy asked. He quickly did a mental run through to see if he remembered the name from anything, but drew a blank.
"It's our nation, Tommy," Wilbur said, at the same time Fundy replied with,
"It's a student-led dance group that Wilbur finally got permission for."
"Goddamnit, Fundy. Disowned."
Wilbur made to walk out of the room, before turning back and whipping out a pamphlet from his pocket. He handed it to Tommy with a serious nod and a salute, before whisking away, flicking Fundy in the back of the head as he passed.~~~
or
Wilbur starts a student-led dance competition team called L'manburg and takes it way too seriously. Fundy is there to call him out. Tommy doesn't know what he's signed up for. Tubbo is just straight vibing. Phil is done with everything. A rival dance studio, the SMP Studios, wages a war. Chaos ensues.

He tried very hard not to lean away when Mike leaned in. Why were they sitting like this, completely pressed together from shoulder to knee? Their entire sides were touching, and the strange contact was enough to sufficiently distract him. Especially when Mike laid a hand on his thigh, what the fuck.
“Hey," Mike whispered, lips almost brushing his ear. “You okay? You seem… not yourself." Yeah, no shit! Because he was Lucas, not Will!
___
Lucas and Will get bodyswapped. Mike, not knowing that, decides to confront Will about the painting. Confusion ensues.Bookmarked by melmeljoyan

Summary
“As Herons we are explorers, historians, documentors, we learn the history of the places we visit and remember the past so others do not have to. Committing ourselves to memory and writing, we discover things no-one else has thought possible, and we find things which people have forgotten,” Scott leaned towards him, so close that their breaths mingled together in the cold night air between them. A small smile danced across his lips as his eyes refused to leave Owen’s, “So, Owen, what is your history?”

Summary
Tim gets goaded into taking a vacation with his friends.

Two, Tim Drake hates having like twelve million jobs. [A surprise to no one but Tim]
Three, Tim Drake cannot remember the last time he wasn’t sore, hiding an injury, or just running around to put out the next metaphorical fire. [Again, not a surprise]
Four, Kon is a fantastic masseuse. [No, Tim is not telling him. It will only inflate his ego.]
Five, Kon’s control of his TTK has gotten infinitely better. [Again, not telling him.]
And six, the world totally doesn’t fall apart when Tim takes a break. [Pay no attention to Gotham City nearly burning to a crisp]
