Summary
Derek clenched his jaw as he heard the small click, click, click of the touchscreen phone that Stiles was currently texting on. He glanced away from his lab questions to glare at his lab partner. He never stopped texting, or facebook-ing, or tweeting, or whatever else normal people did on their stupid f**king phones. All he knew was that Stiles never used his phone during lectures, but had his phone glued to his f**king face whenever they had to do lab work together.
When he told Erica about this, she said Derek was jealous of the phone.

The guy looked up from his book, startled by Derek’s voice, his mouth falling open and his eyes wide. “Hi…what are you doing here?”
Derek chuckled. “I was hoping you could tell me that…are we dead?”
Stiles snorted and shook his head. “No, I’m in a coma.”
Derek furrowed his eyebrows in concern. “What? Am I in one, too?”
Stiles shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know, are you? What’s the last thing you remember?”
“I had to get an emergency appendectomy.” Derek replied, rubbing his side.

Derek had been watching Stiles, unable to form words, still in awe that he was there, had come back to give Derek a second chance; a second chance that he was blowing when he realized that Stiles was walking to the door. He swallowed his pride and took a deep breath before calling out to Stiles.

Summary
Four years after graduating from Samwell, Nursey can honestly say he loves his life.
He just finished his third novel. He eats like a somewhat responsible adult. He lives in a small two-bedroom apartment with his best friend, who cooks them fancy Instagram recipes for dinner and binges new Netflix series with Nursey on the couch and knows how to deal with the anxious voice in Nursey's head better than anyone (especially Nursey).
And yeah, Nursey is kind of totally in love with Dex, has been for going on five years thereabouts, and all of Nursey's friends and family are adamant that the feelings are reciprocated and Nursey should just go for it , but, well. He and Dex have a good thing going, and maybe something romantic could be good, too, but the prospect of ruining what they have is terrifying enough for Nursey to let things just stay the same.
Then there's a car accident, a transfer of guardianship, and a little baby girl with the widest smile Nursey has ever seen, and the change becomes inevitable.- Language:

Derek had a gaming group. A gaming group! After long months of playing the quiet outlier in BHHS’s nerdiest clique he considered a tabletop game to be a serious step up the social ladder.
So the game wasn’t a system he was familiar with… that was alright. Derek had played Traveler and GURPS, White Wolf and Star Wars with his group back in New York, but never straight-up Dungeons and Dragons. He could make it work. And sure, his character was a little ridiculous -- a snarky, badass, leather-wearing werewolf version of himself…but that was okay too.
Because he had a gaming group, and it was being headed up by Stiles Stilinski, undisputed nerd-king of Beacon Hills High School.
