Summary
The events at Crescent Moon Island during the Winter Solstice turn out a little differently. As the volcano erupts thanks to Roku's wrath, chaos consumes the temple, and Sokka tries to save their new ally Shyu, but ends up trapped and collapsing from exhaustion and heat. Drifting between life and death, he dreams of home, playing childhood games with Katara and hearing his mother’s voice, before the dream twists into darkness.
When he wakes, it’s to the face of his supposed enemy: Prince Zuko.
Stranded together on a failing Fire Nation skiff, they’re forced into an uneasy alliance that tests every instinct and belief they’ve ever held.
Just how will Sokka navigate all the obstacles and hardships life throws at him? How much will he have to endure before he runites with Katara?
This series is my love letter to the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. I fell in love with it when it was released back in 2005, and loved it ever since. I intend to rewrite all 3 books of the series with a darker and more mature twist, so join me on this Canon Divergence rewrite!

It had taken Zuko all of two seconds to come up with his answer, a scowl on his face and fists clenched at his sides.
“One. Catowls aren’t native to the Fire Nation: only the Earth Kingdom.”
In the moment, Zuko was so sure and so strong-willed that it only made sense. But he was wrong.
The answer was three catowls. The first wouldn’t seem real. After all, he’d never seen it before, so it was probably a fluke. The second would be real, sure, but he’d assume that would be the first catowl, and would think that maybe it was migrating. The third catowl would finally tip him over the edge. Because catowls didn’t travel in threes.
There was only one eclipse. Somehow, he had lived three others in the last few days.
The question was, Why? What did the spirits want him to do?

AN INCREDIBLE START TO BOOK 2 OF THIS INCREDIBLE SERIES. I love seeing how Sokka deals with the aftermath of his trauma - as well as the knowledge that he hasn’t fully escaped. I also am so excited to see how the storyline will deviate even further from canon ATLA with Sokka switching to travelling with Zuko and Iroh. I am also excited and hopeful in seeing the romance between Sokka and Zuko blossom. Additionally, it seems like bad karma is following Katara now - and Aang is starting to see Katara (and Sokka) in a new, more observant light.

Summary
Sokka was never sent to guard Yue, he was too busy scouting ahead with some of the Northern Tribe warriors before the Siege. He was catch and capture being taking too Zhao's ship. He barely managed to escape with his life due Aang and a giant sea monster. Now he's stranded in the middle of the ocean with no one except Prince Zuko and his uncle for company.
Sokka should have died, if not from drowning then the burns he received from his time on Zhao's ship. But he survived. Why? Maybe the white streak appearing in his hair may have give him an answer.
Inspired by 'Will We Last the Night' by CSHfic, VSfic but with Moon Spirit Sokka AU

When Katara came back from the warship and told him that she thought Aang had been frozen in that iceberg for a hundred years, he didn’t doubt her. His eyes followed the naive young boy as he played with the children of the village, tattoos out for show without a hood or a parka to cover them, the Airbender not realizing the extent of the danger he had put them all in. He pieced it all together. He made a plan.

Summary
Everyone knew that Kenny McCormick was the poorest kid in town. They could crack jokes about it all they wanted, he really didn’t care, but most of them had no idea what really went on behind closed doors. They were all able to live semi-normal lives while Kenny had to work for every little thing he had and to help support his little sister however he could. It was exhausting and he was getting really fucking sick of it.
While Butters’ family may not be poor, that didn’t mean that life at home was all fine and dandy for him either. It was like constantly walking on eggshells, being hyper vigilant about every move he made and every word that came out of his mouth. He hated it, but what could he do? Honestly, he could only keep doing his best to stay on his parent’s good side and do what he was told. Anything to avoid negative consequences.
Neither of them knew what they were doing except whatever they could in order to survive in a world that only ever seemed to be against them. Maybe it was possible that they could eventually learn to survive together.
