Howl loves Sophie, and Sophie loves Howl. No matter the age, the time, the place.
“I love you, Jisung,” Minho whispers, before he can even process the words leaving his mouth.
Jisung’s eyes are on him now, pulled away from the screen. They are wide, scared, uncertain at best. Minho snakes his fingers between Jisung’s. Both of their hands are damp, clammy, but that’s okay. He squeezes, roles reversed. Maybe Minho’s the one timing the beat now, hoping Jisung can match the pace of his heart. Ba-bump, ba-bump.

They’re in Seungmin’s room, backs against the wall, a movie on Seungmin’s laptop playing mostly as background noise. Jeongin’s in an oversized hoodie and sweats, legs spread lazily over the duvet. Seungmin’s half-slumped against his side, arms folded, sipping from a can of something fizzy.
“Hey,” Seungmin blurts out of nowhere. “Bite me.”
Jeongin chokes on his own spit. “What?”

Someone else was there.

“No shit” Jisung hissed, still struggling.
“Fuck off” the other vampire snarled over his shoulder. “Find your own dinner.”
Minho laughed. A soft, airy giggle that absolutely did not belong in an alley where someone was about to die.
Jisung honestly wondered if he was hallucinating.
Pinned to a wall by a vampire he nearly killed, and another immortal one appears like this is some sick comedy show.
“Did you miss me, Jisung?” Minho asked, tilting his head with a small pout.

Minho struggles with his irregular heats, doctor's and specialists still had yet to create a mystical cure but seeing as their heat suppressants didn't work for him either, he didn't have his hopes very high. They were buried six foot under, to be exact. His heat hit's sooner than expected, and his usual go-to alphas are frustratingly unavailable, but one pop's into new light and it's the most unexpected yet beautifully timed presenting that Minho could ever wish for. Sure he thought Jisung was an omega like him, but who is he to complain when he's full to the brim with hot, alpha seed and stuck on Jisung's knot.

He’d lingered in doorways, laughed a little too loud at Minho’s dry jokes, and waited, desperate, for the shift. For the moment where Minho’s eyes would darken with something other than exasperated affection.
