Summary
The pebble Kris had been about to throw slips out of their hand as they give her a strange look. It doesn’t even bounce once.
“...Huh.”
“Don’t huh me, it’s not that weird!!!”
“Noelle you’re talking about how much you want to be fished out by someone, I’m pretty sure it is that weird.”
Noelle and Kris both find themselves near Hometown's lake, and end up talking to each other to pass the time. They are both Very Normal during this conversation.

On her part, she looks anxious, like this is the last place she wants to be in. Her eyes are very purposefully as far away from their figure as they can be and one arm is squeezing the other with what feels like as much force as possible. Held in her free arm, which is extended towards them, is some sort of letter.
“An invitation,” she explains, voice still far too nervous and far too shaky. “For my party.” But that just raises more questions, because since when did Noelle host parties? “Well, it's not much of a party, more of a gathering — mom’s hosting it as a sort of farewell, since I'm leaving for college soon-”
Oh.
A story in which Kris tries learning how to live again, as they grapple with the feeling of being left behind.

Summary
Their favorite color is golden. Most would assume it's because of the way it envelops them - their golden skin, golden eyes, golden soul that burns with determination. That's part of it, sure, but they wouldn't say it's the main reason. Rather, it's because of the field near their village, filled to the brim with golden flowers. The place was filled with such tranquility and peace that just sitting down and appreciating the beauty of the landscape surrounding them was enough to soothe all their worries and fears.
Until the day others burned it down. The people, the village, the flowers... all of it.
Years later, after life has broken them down so throughly, they decides they'll do anything to bring that peace back, no matter the cost.
A magic-bearing human falls into the Underground, searching for a reason to keep going. They do find it, eventually. It just takes a while.

Summary
She'd be in front of her computer, face scrunched up in concentration as she entered a search for Christmas related words in an attempt to continue a naming tradition that spanned generations and she gracefully adopted. Some horribly niche music track with at most a few thousand listens on YouTube she'd grown obsessed with in the last few days would be playing as she scrolled past all of the options and shook her head, giving reasons for each one - too on the nose, too clunky, too much about the human religion Christmas originated from and not enough about the holiday itself… and then she'd stumble upon it. The word Noel - ‘Christmas’ in french, as a basic Google search they’d done as soon as they'd gotten home had informed them. She'd stare at the name for a while, pronounce it to herself one, two, even a thousand times, and each instance her smile would get wider as she realized she'd stumbled upon her final choice, only a few adaptations away.
And Kris? If this had happened before the world had gone to shit, Kris would’ve been right there with her.
When Noelle finally comes out as trans, Kris finds themself yearning for the way things used to be even more than they thought possible.

Summary
Noelle is a vampire. It's perfectly treatable - a few days under observation, a course of antivirals sent in from the big city, and she'll be her normal vegetarian self again. The only catch? If her mom finds out about this, she'll never see daylight again, vampire or not. If she wants to avoid the grounding of a lifetime, she'll have to resort to alternate methods of treatment.
Catti can help, but she warns Noelle that she'll need to feed soon, or she's risking more than just being grounded. And not just any blood will do... it has to be from a human. Can Noelle bridge the gap between her and Kris to ask for the weirdest favor of all time, or will her vampiric nature get the better of her?

Anyway go check it out this has everything anyone could want out of a kriselle fic. Humor? On point. Drama? Delicious. Yearning? I feel like it's impossible for either of them to yearn any more at this point. Homossexual activites? I mean they don't make out or anything but the blood sucking is somehow gayer than that so it all works out in the end. 10000/10, absolute must read

Amazing amazing amazing ts so peak i have no words (well actually clearly I have a bunch of words but shhhhhh). Such good Noelle characterization. Idk if I'd say it's my favorite necessarily but it's up there for sure. It I had to describe it in short words I'd say the fic just lets her be weird and that feels very nice. Idk what else to say the Kriselle is just good. Leans a lot into the petplay aspect (very sfw but still) so if you don't rlly fw that maybe don't read but otherwise I highly recommend.
