When Michael had jokingly slipped David a card, an invitation for a date, written with pretty — but actually really shitty — cursive he learned from his mother, complete with pink hearts he doodled on last minute, he never really expected David to respond with anything but a laugh and a shake of his head, and saying; "Want to eat at Lin's again?"
You know, like every other day.
So imagine Michael's surprise when David, after reading the card over the day, called Michael and agreed. Agreed to Michael's fucking Valentine.

Somehow, someway, his pleas were heard, and Michael found himself thrown into quite a twist, and reality itself seemed to have been flipped onto its head. Was Michael losing his mind? Or was some supernatural force fulfilling his wish?

David doesn't have a problem with Michael getting closer to Star ‒ just as long as it happens where the rest of the Lost Boys can watch. And just as long as Michael and Star are okay with David getting involved, or questioning how much Star needs to be involved at all.

Summary
Michael took a hit off the joint. He didn’t really know how to do it and ended up coughing and gagging as the smoke stayed in his lungs too long, and all of the boys continued with their Greek chorus of jeers and laughter, except David. He moved around Michael like a shark, eyes never leaving him, boring into him actually, as if he could see the stuff he was made of.
