Bruce looks down again, this time focused entirely at the spot where the palms of their hands touch, Jason's soft and unblemished and Bruce's calloused and scarred, “Thank you for waking me up. I'm sorry if I scared you."
“I wasn't scared,” Jason immediately says. He sounds as childish as he feels.
Bruce doesn't chastise him, blinking slowly at him as he laughs quietly and whispers, “I was pretty scared.”
Jason's hand squeezes around Bruce's wrist involuntarily.

“Boss, Peter Parker is currently vomiting in an Uber.”
Tony stops walking.
He closes his eyes. He pinches the bridge of his nose. “Is he wearing the suit?” he asks, sharp. What in blue fuck. He has to be, since Tony is getting this update. But that would make this a particularly difficult situation.
“Yes, boss, but under his clothes. The driver is unaware he has Spiderman in his car.”
Okay, better. A less difficult situation.
