It's been a while since Martyn, BigB, Skizz and Etho started travelling together, doing missions here and there as any group of adventurers does. It's just that of late, even a simple job seems to branch into something much bigger. With already two encounters with lesser demons under their belts, meeting someone in the middle of the woods doesn't exactly spark the feeling of complete safety.

Meanwhile Ren.... has no idea what he's doing. He'd sworn to protect False and he really intends to do so, so when she went missing, of course he went to search for her. He just... thought it would be easier than this.
His stomach rumbles loudly and he groans weakly as his body protests any movement.

Patrolling has always been one of Martyn's favorite duties but he's not gonna lie that it always puts him on edge being so far from Ren. He knows he's the best one for stealth patrolls, but really, he prefers being with his Queen over being in the wild.
So it's with a relief that he walks towards her quarters. He should be going to the barracks as he's meant to train the new recuits in the morning, but he has to pay a visit to Ren first. Just to say hi and see how her day has been. It's a routine since years back, just to spend some time chatting before both of them has to go to bed to deal with whatever problem should arise the next day.
But he wasn't exactly prepared for the sight that greeted him when he opened the door to Ren's bedchamber.

First dates has to be extraordinary, flashy, impressive! Preferably magical as well, but even Ren knows that that might be a bit too high of a standard. So, Ren really tries his hardest to make this evening the absolut best! A table booked at a fancy resturance, check. Good looking suit, check. Car all cleaned up, check. Carefully handcrafted gift, check. Now he just need to pick up Martyn. Nothing can go wrong!
