Summary
Castiel's ultra religious family pushed him into hiding the fact that he was gay from their circle of acquaintances. This was, unfortunately, not enough for them. They continually threw women at him, in an attempt to force him into being straight. Castiel stifled each attempt.
To this end, they introduced him to the daughter of a new church member, Deanna. However, Deanna immediately informed Castiel that he was, in fact, a closeted trans man and preferred to be called Dean. They became fast friends, bonded by the similarity of their circumstances, much to the delight of their families.
Unwilling to out Dean they decided to play along with the idea that they were dating.
CW: lots of deadnaming and using the wrong pronouns.

Summary
Dean wanted to be angry. Anger made things easy, simple in a way that things rarely were when it came to Cas. It didn’t leave any room for soft touches, quiet words, or that terrible feeling in his gut that screamed for him to grab Cas and never let go.
When Castiel gets hit with a spell on a routine witch hunt, it unleashes his true form. The thought of losing Cas again is unbearable and feelings Dean has repressed for years begin to surface.

Summary
Set somewhere after 15.19.
Sam and Dean have run themselves nearly into the ground trying to find a way to bring Cas back, but it still comes as a shock when Castiel, Angel of the Lord appears in the bunker, disheveled and despondent.
Of course the first thing our beloveds do is miscommunicate, and things are hella awkward from there on in.
Since their priorities have changed, Sam thinks that a case is just the thing they need to get over... whatever this weirdness is.
Along the way Dean starts to question if things are really what they seem and Sam just questions which of these two women will kill him first.
Oh, and Cas and Rowena become emotionally attached to an invisible monster.or, the one where Dean can't let himself have good things.
