Befriending Rafayel my first year of college was one of the best decisions I had ever made. We’ve always been by each other’s sides but somewhere along the way, things shifted. The way his gaze lingers too long when we make eye contact, or how my pulse jumps every time our shoulders brush, maybe we don’t see each other as just friends anymore.
