Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.

Or; Spectre was bored, so It decided to turn the survivors into vampires. It's plan is only mildly derailed when It makes the charm too potent and the survivors eat everything before 007n7 can have his slice— but that only makes it more fun. Now It gets to see drama both during rounds AND outside of them.

“Holy shit..” Noli took a step closer. “Is that a..?”
“A baby?” 007n7 intervened, finishing Noli’s sentence. “Yeah. Yeah, it is. And not just any baby, it's..” 007n7 trailed off. “Just look at it.”
The baby stirred in its sleep, letting out a soft, muffled gurgle. Its skin was deep crimson, almost glowing in the dim light. Noli’s mouth was wide open. “Oh my goodness, it’s fucking red.” he whispered in disbelief.
“Thank you!” 007n7 said, throwing up his hands. “Finally, someone acknowledges the baby is red! I thought I was going insane.”
“Why is it red?!” Noli whisper-yelled, his voice cracked with disbelief as he flailed his arms like he could somehow fling the weirdness out of the room by force alone.
“You think I know?!” 007n7 shot back, hands gesturing wildly. “You think I just wander around campus planting red demon babies in cardboard boxes for funsies!?"

Being a killer in that forsaken place was... entertaining, at best.
Especially considering that—unlike the survivors, who were painfully aware of every second spent in that hell—the killers had been stripped of any ability to perceive rounds.
They just knew they were there for a single purpose, with no capacity to question it. And they had no issue indulging in it over and over again.But one thing they all agreed on was: the food situation in that place sucked.
So, let's change that.

Sebastian becomes jealous, argumentative, thinking you got better treatment, only to find out that you were given better treatment, only to suffer as much as him. (Eventually: you two will break out at your own times. Author is thinking of splitting this into a good and bad ending of their own works, so the good ending is you and Sebastian escaping, and the bad ending is uhh... too gruesome to put in a summary or explain without warning.)
