He finds Hypnos in his bed.
He’s tangled in Zagreus’ blankets, mask pulled down over his eyes and hair messy around his face. His robes are pulled loose, the fingers of one hand tucked between his thighs. He often sleeps this way, as though it is a comfort. His knuckles are still wet, his cheeks flushed. He hasn’t been sleeping long. The sight of Hypnos in his bed is familiar in a way that has Zagreus’ chest going tight.
It is far from the first time he’s found Hypnos here.
Zagreus leaves, again and again. Every time, it is the first.
Every time it is the last.

And while Estinien had seen omegas before– obviously– he struggled to remember the last time he'd spent any meaningful amount of time around one. Back in Ferndale newly presented omegas were seen as too valuable to waste on farm work. Instead quickly whisked off to live in the city proper, either as some high born's plaything or– for the more Fury fearing folks– Halonic nuns. If omegas really were so unfit for farm work then he couldn't even begin to imagine how those clucking crones at the chantry would react to the omega standing before him now. Dressed in full Temple Knight gear with a stern expression etched into his pretty face as he stood statue still behind the Commander. Stood tall in the face of sexist tradition even as their Commander seemed just as hesitant to see something so delicate sent against the hoard.

"It doesn't matter." Estinien forced out in lieu of answering, shifting on the bed when Aymeric let out a low chuckle.
