Summary
A Season 2 AU in which Will Graham did not, at any point, accuse Hannibal of being the Chesapeake Ripper.
Will Graham is the smartest person most people will ever have the misfortune to meet. Hannibal Lecter has been no exception; he's brilliant, but his failing is that he assumes he's the mastermind in every situation. He still thinks Will didn't pick up on every weird joke, every coincidence, every threat disguised as a charming quip, every flashing neon sign that screams "Hannibal Lecter is the Chesapeake Ripper!"
Now, Will has to decide what he wants from Hannibal. For the first time in his life, it seems like there's a possibility that somebody might be close enough to his level for a real connection. Hannibal is an apex predator in a garish suit, blind to Will's superior camouflage, and the Ripper's obsession with Agent Graham is so obvious it's drawing attention from... undesirable sources. If Will can manipulate everything to his desired outcome, Hannibal could become the equal Will has always wanted.
If he wants to protect their fragile peace, it'll take a lot more than just Hannibal Lecter.
That's fine. After all, Will has never been able to stop himself at just one stray.

Summary
Long ago, the four Great Races of Middle Earth - the Hobbits, the Dwarves, the Elves, and the Men - were gifted the ability to take animal form in times of great distress. Each race had an animal that was unique to their kind.
But the Dwarves have forgotten this gift. The ability to change shape has been lost for so long, they have all forgotten that the gift ever existed in their people, and their race has been diminished as a result.
Gandalf thinks the dwarves are not beyond saving - and he thinks one strong and determined, but unassuming, hobbit might just hold the key.

Laying on his death bed, in the last homely home of the elves, the Valar visit Bilbo. Something went wrong, Frodo and Sam failed their task. Bilbo has been charged with going back, back to the very beginning. He is being sent back to his twenty fifth year of age.

Bilbo: dies, time-travels, becomes Mandos’ favorite, pranks half of Rivendell, turns pirate, saves the Nazgûl, and learns combat from Glorfindel.
Gandalf: “What do you mean Belladonna isn’t dead?”
Thorin: “Why is our hobbit terrifying and why is that attractive?”
Nori: “Honey, I’m home!”A fix-it where Bilbo is competent and everyone else is confused.

Summary
Mira finds herself staring at the alpha’s hands while she speaks. They were expressive, gesturing animatedly while telling her story. She tries not to find it so charming.
She fails miserably.
Rumi is no better, eyes seeming to glow as she watches intently. Taking in every little expression and quirk of her brow like it was something worth memorizing.
The alpha must feel their twin stares from the way she begins to trail off, realizing just how much she’s been speaking. “—and, uh… I’m—oh jeez—I’m so sorry. I forgot to uhm… I just sat down and—” Whatever she tries to say gets stuck in her throat. Her hands gesture outwardly like she’s encouraging the words to come out.
Mira huffs a sound of amusement.
Rumi bites her tongue to stop herself from grinning.
Eventually, the alpha gives up.
Sighing heavily, she drops her head low in defeat. Taking a moment to compose herself, she takes a deep breath before ever so slightly tilting her head back up to meet their eyes.
“Hi… I’m Zoey,” she finally gets out.
OR
Zoey fails at finding a library book and meets two pretty omegas who flirt(?) with her instead.

Summary
She reaches her hand out, hopes that it doesn’t come off as overly formal. “I’m Melanie.”
The woman’s smile widens, and she takes Melanie’s hand. Her hand is soft, but her grip firm. She has a dark plum manicure that matches her lipstick, all of her nails long and perfect, except for her pointer and index fingernails, which are short and blunt. Really good sign, that.
“Pleasure to meet you, Melanie. I’m Annabelle.”
